Flags and targeting rules are configured on the ConfigCat Dashboard and published to a config JSON file distributed via ConfigCat's CDN; each SDK downloads and caches that config locally in the application on a configurable polling interval, then evaluates flags instantly against a User Object entirely from local cache, with an optional self-hosted Proxy or on-premise deployment for teams that need it inside their own infrastructure.
