Sources and unknowns
Published facts and feature answers link to a source and show when it was checked. If an answer is unconfirmed, we show “?”. Missing evidence does not mean a feature is missing.
Checking and corrections
We use automated source checks and moderation to maintain the catalog. Community and vendor submissions go through review before publication. Data can still be wrong or become outdated: use “Suggest an edit” on an app page to send a correction with a source. Its data history shows changes to facts and feature answers.
Vendor contributions
Builders can claim their listing and propose corrections with evidence. Vendors cannot edit competitors, hide alternatives, or remove accurate criticism. Listings for products we build follow the same rules.
Paid services
Sponsorship buys a labeled placement separate from the ranked list. Fast-track review moves a submission up the review queue, with the same acceptance requirements and a full refund if rejected. Neither changes Alt Score or guarantees approval.
