Google's collaborative whiteboard. Google Jamboard has been discontinued; the active alternatives listed here are maintained products you can switch to.
Teams and classrooms that needed a shared digital whiteboard for real-time brainstorming, either in person on a dedicated touchscreen device or remotely via the app.
A 55-inch interactive display (also available as an app for iOS, Android, and web) with digital sticky notes, freehand drawing, shape recognition, and image insertion. Jams (the files it created) synced automatically to Google Drive and stayed editable from any device. It integrated with Google Workspace, including pulling in Google Search images and Drive files directly onto the board. Google discontinued Jamboard, shutting down the app and service by the end of 2024 and halting hardware sales.
Users created a 'Jam' file, added frames to it, and drew, wrote, or pasted content onto the canvas using touch, stylus, or mouse input. Multiple participants could edit the same Jam simultaneously from different devices, with changes syncing live through Drive.
