Who it's for

Power users and forum/file-sharing communities who regularly download from one-click hosters (e.g. Rapidgator, Mega, etc.) and want to automate large or repetitive downloads rather than clicking through each host manually.

What you get

A free, open-source Java download manager that decrypts and queues links from container formats (DLC, RSDF, CCF) and hoster URLs. It handles multi-part downloads, automatic file extraction/decompression, captcha solving, and link-checking to skip dead links. A plugin system supports hundreds of hosting sites, and a browser extension or remote/mobile app lets you send links to it from anywhere.

How it works

You paste or feed it links (or a container file), JDownloader parses and decrypts them via host-specific plugins, then downloads, extracts, and organizes the files automatically, prompting for captchas or premium account credentials when a host requires them.

Why people leave JDownloader

Dashed reasons are sourced facts; the rest are opinions. Vendors can dispute.
