Its signature feature, 'magic words,' let users type short commands like 'gif,' 'draw,' or 'weather' to trigger inline mini-tools that inserted content into a post. Peach launched in January 2016, had a brief viral spike, then saw activity decline within months. It is now defunct: the team stopped active development by 2019, and the app was pulled from the App Store and Google Play by 2025.
Users added friends, then composed posts in a simple text box; typing a recognized magic word opened a corresponding tool (drawing pad, GIF search, map, etc.) whose output was embedded in the post, which then appeared in friends' feeds.
