Who it's for

Linux and other POSIX-system users, sysadmins, and IT professionals who need to remotely access desktops, servers, or files from other machines.

What you get

A free, open-source remote desktop client supporting multiple protocols (RDP, VNC, SSH, SPICE, X2Go) in one application. It offers a tabbed interface for managing many simultaneous connections, a saved connection/profile manager, multi-monitor and kiosk-mode support, and a plugin architecture for extending protocol support.

How it works

Users create and save connection profiles specifying the protocol, host, and credentials for each remote machine, then launch and switch between active sessions from Remmina's tabbed interface.
