Skiff offered end-to-end encrypted email (Skiff Mail), file storage (Skiff Drive), collaborative documents (Skiff Pages), and calendar, all encrypted so even Skiff couldn't read user data. It included custom domain support, aliases, and a free tier alongside paid plans. The suite emphasized zero-access encryption over feature parity with mainstream productivity tools.
Users signed up with an email/password or crypto wallet, and their keys were generated and stored client-side so data was encrypted before it left the device. Mail, files, and docs were then accessed through web and mobile apps, with sharing done via encrypted links or invited collaborators. Notion acquired Skiff in February 2024 and shut the service down later that year, migrating users to Notion Mail.
