Tempo Smart Calendar was an AI-powered iOS calendar app (an SRI International spinoff) that pulled context from a user's email, contacts, and social profiles and attached it to relevant calendar events, surfacing bios, shared history, documents, and travel details so users didn't have to search before a meeting. It acted as a context-aware smart calendar rather than a scheduling/booking tool.
The app synced with the device's calendar, email, and contacts, then automatically surfaced matching background information next to each upcoming event. Salesforce acquired the company in May 2015 and the app was shut down on June 30, 2015.
