An Android browser that ran Chrome desktop extensions. Its sole developer archived the project in January 2025; the extension code was folded into Microsoft Edge Canary.
Android users who want to run desktop Chrome/Firefox extensions (ad blockers, password managers, userscripts) on their phone or tablet, and anyone who prefers a Chromium-based mobile browser with more configurability than stock Chrome.
A Chromium-based Android browser that can install and run unmodified extensions from the Chrome Web Store, something mobile Chrome itself does not support. It also includes a built-in ad blocker, a bottom-positioned address bar, dark mode, and tab/bookmark sync. Originally developed by Geometry OU, it was discontinued by its original developer in 2024 and open-sourced; the codebase is now maintained by community forks rather than the original team.
Users install the APK (from GitHub or a community-maintained build, since it is no longer on the Play Store) and browse much like desktop Chrome. Extensions are added by opening the browser's extensions menu and installing them directly from the Chrome Web Store, after which they run in the mobile browsing session.
