It categorized transactions automatically, let users set category-based monthly budgets and track spending against them, sent bill due-date and low-balance alerts, and provided a free credit score with basic credit monitoring. Intuit shut Mint down on March 23, 2024, directing users to Credit Karma.
Users linked their financial accounts via bank login credentials, and Mint pulled in and categorized transactions automatically, updating budgets, balances, and net worth as new transactions came in. Users could reclassify transactions, adjust budget categories, and review spending trends through the web app or mobile app.
